Introduction to Umpiring Workshop

Attendees will be taken through the basic principles of umpiring, the rules of field hockey, BWHA procedures for umpires, and given tools for behaviour management.

Umpire Mentoring Workshop

Suitable for established umpires and club volunteers looking to mentor junior umpires, or create an umpire mentor program for their club.

Next Workshop: March 15, 2022 – TBC
registrations will open in January

Senior Umpire Talks

Suitable for all senior umpires, our guest hosts – current Division 1 and national panel umpires – will discuss rule interpretations, behaviour management tools, new rules and much more ahead of the new season!

BWHA Technical Courses

Next Workshop: Season introduction for BWHA fixture technical officials

Attend 1 of the 2 workshops if you have nominated to be a BWHA Technical Official on Junior, Senior or Masters fixtures for the 2022 season.

  • Saturday 5 March 2022,  10am to 11am or
  • Wednesday 9 March 2022, 7pm to 8pm

Sessions will be held at the BWHA Clubhouse, 16 Melbourne Street, Windsor.

Club Umpire Payments info:  you are rewarded for your effort

Bulimba Women’s Division includes a club approved Umpire Levy in your Fees

This levy is used to pay all Umpires & Mentors for the games they do on behalf of our Club.

          For all Junior + Senior Grass Games we pay:   $25/game

          For all Junior + Senior Turf Including MM Games we pay:  $30/game

 (This fee is deducted from season fees, or if you have paid your fees in full, it will be refunded to you)

To receive your payment All Umpires are required to fill in a Hobby letter / Direct Debit payment form
