Covid-19 Safe Play Info & regulations

Return to Play Under Stage 3 Restrictions

Here is the link to our updated Bulimba Hockey Club COVID-19 Safety Management Plan. Please read this to understand the Club's approach and plans that are in place to keep you safe when using our facilities or training at other venues with your team.

Recent Changes in Restrictions:

We are now in stage 6 of easing restrictions in Queensland and although it feels very much like pre pandemic other than regularly scanning QR codes, I do encourage everyone to remain vigilant and stay up to date over the holidays.  We are planning to move forward with our State Championship program in 2021, albeit with COVID plans in place. We will wait and see what impact the movement of people throughout Australia during the Christmas holidays will bring and be sure to update you again when we return in January.

However I encourage all Associations and Clubs to regularly check the following link to stay across the updates. https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/government-actions/roadmap-to-easing-queenslands-restrictions/sport/covid-safe-events

BWHA UPDATE July 31 – 1:00pm   Clubs & Officials

Please distribute this email to all members and supporters.

Due to the elevated need to be able to quickly provide tracing details for Queensland Health, we ask that from this week onward all players, officials and spectators sign on at each venue using the relevant EVA – QR code.

Could all Team Managers print off the codes and place in their match booklet. Ensure all players and team officials have registered as they entered the venue and if not use your codes or those onsite to do so before entering the team bench or area.

It is essential that all individuals who attend any hockey venue check in/out using the EVA QR Codes, everyone’s vigilance at this time is greatly appreciated.
